The mighty London Lions mens and womens teams are keen to build on the incredible success they’ve seen throughout the 2024 season so far.
Having already dominated the British Basketball League (BBL) and Women’s British Basketball League (WBBL) with the mens team winning by a staggering 20 points and womens by 4 points respectively - it seems like there’s no stopping them!
London Lions return to Copper Box Arena this weekend as the women’s team play their final regular season game against the Caledonia Gladiators tipping off at 12:00, this first vs second showdown should still prove to be an exciting end to the season. Meanwhile, the men’s team compete in Game 1 in the BBL Playoff Quarter-Finals against Surrey Scorchers tipping off at 15:00!
For the men's team, this season's playoffs will see the top 8 teams from the league fight in a knockout style format, with the quarter-finals played in a best-of-3 series, followed by the semi-finals before the grand final on May 19th.
