Elite netball returns to Copper Box Arena as England netball announces blockbuster 2025 fixtures

Netball fans in the capital are in for a treat this winter as international action returns to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. England Netball has confirmed that Copper Box Arena will host four thrilling matchdays as part of the Vitality Roses' 2025 international calendar - welcoming New Zealand and Jamaica.

With the countdown to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow well underway, the Copper Box Arena will once again be at the heart of the Vitality Roses' preparations - giving fans in London the opportunity to see world-class netball live.

Vitality Roses v New Zealand

  • Saturday 15th November – England vs. New Zealand, FCP 5pm
  • Sunday 16th November – England vs. New Zealand, FCP 3pm
This highly anticipated series will see the Roses take on world number two New Zealand, just months after England's historic 2024 triumphs which included winning the Taini Jamison Trophy against the Silver Ferns for only the second time in history.

Vitality Roses v Jamaica

Following their trip to Jamaica, the Roses will return home for the closing weekend of the Vitality Netball Horizon Series, where they’ll take on world number three Jamaica - their fierce rivals for the Rhone-Hornsby Cup.

  • Saturday 13th December – England vs. Jamaica, FCP 2:15pm
  • Sunday 14th December – England vs. Jamaica, FCP 2pm
These two matches promise to deliver fast-paced, high-intensity action as England look to claim the Rhone-Hornsby Cup for the first time, after Jamaica edged them out in last year’s series.

Chief Executive Officer at England Netball Fran Connolly said: “Not only do these international series against two of the top netball nations signify an important step on the road to the 2026 Commonwealth Games for the Vitality Roses, but they also provide an amazing opportunity for fans to show their support for the squad and watch live, elite netball across two different venues in both London and Manchester. We cannot wait to welcome New Zealand and Jamaica to what I am sure will be two highly competitive and incredibly entertaining international netball series.”

Vitality Roses Head Coach Jess Thirlby added: “Securing high level, high intensity series against the world’s best teams is always top of the agenda, not least as we build towards back-to-back major tournament years with the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2026 and the Netball World Cup in Sydney in 2027 just around the corner. We have both a long-standing rivalry with Jamaica, which we saw the renewal of last year in the hotly contested Vitality Netball Horizon Series, and a more recent competitive rivalry between ourselves and the Silver Ferns, serving up many tight contests. Both series will help test us and enhance our preparations for 2026, whilst also allowing our athletes to make their mark in front of our incredible fans.”
