London Pulse Super League showdown against Surrey Storm

It was great to see London Pulse at the Copper Box Arena in their Vitality Super League showdown against Surrey Storm on Saturday.

The teams started with a centre pass at 2pm and we saw some fantastic performances from team members such as Funmi Fadoju, Lindsay Keable and Sacha McDonald with player of the match being awarded to a sensational Olivia Tchine. The team's effort all paid off and resulted in a victory of 56-50 for the London Pulse team!

Olivia Tchine of London Pulse said “It was a really fantastic performance from the whole team.  We knew it was going to be a tough game and we had to dig deep but the result speaks for itself.  Thanks to all the fans that came to the CopperBox today, we hear you and you really help us push on and win”.

We had over 1500 attendees at the Copper Box Arena for the live match. If you didn’t manage to make the game, you can catch up and watch the highlights here from England Netball on YouTube, or book tickets for their next event here.

Sam Bird, CEO & Director of Netball for London Pulse described the team's performance saying “We knew it was a game that Surrey Storm were going to fight to win but I never felt at any point we weren't going to win the match - and credit to the whole squad for that. We are creating a fortress at The Copper Box Arena where we are undefeated this season and we are all excited for Monday's game against Sirens and hopefully another Home win”.

Stay up to date with all of the London Pulse activity and make sure to get your hands on tickets for their next home game at the Copper Box Arena.
