Copper Box Arena played host to a thrilling weekend of international netball as the Vitality Roses took on some of Africa’s top teams in an electrifying showdown. Fans were treated to an action-packed competition featuring South Africa’s SPAR Proteas, Malawi Queens, and Uganda’s She Cranes, all ranked among the world’s top seven netball teams.
With the atmosphere buzzing, the tournament saw fierce battles on the court, culminating in victory for the Vitality Roses in Sunday’s final. Coming from behind to win, the performance demonstrated real grit and determination from the home team ending in a well deserved result.
This final marked their first victory in the competition since its inception in 2012, having lost in five previous finals, setting the stage for an exciting year ahead in netball.
