Copper Box Arena is about to become the beating heart of world table tennis. The World Table Tennis (WTT) Star Contender London 2025 will be the first time this prestigious event has been held in the UK.
As one of just six Star Contender events globally each year, it attracts some of the world’s best players competing for ranking points and a chance to qualify for the top-tier WTT Champions and Grand Smash events.

With a total prize pool of $250,000, this six-day event will feature men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles competitions. The main singles draw will include 48 players, featuring top-ranked athletes including up to six from the world’s top 20, plus wildcards and WTT-nominated players (who can also come from the top 20).
Qualifying rounds will see up to 64 singles players per gender and 16 doubles teams per gender battling for a coveted spot.
